Finance Business Controlling Specialist – APAC

About the role

The Finance Business Controlling Specialist supports strategic decision‑making across the APAC region by analysing performance, monitoring costs and delivering actionable insights. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure financial transparency and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse profitability, loss files, procurement efficiency, customer trends, volume development and yield across APAC.
• Support job costing and performance tracking for multiple countries.
• Conduct monthly closing checks and verify data accuracy in financial reports.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for country and regional management.
• Maintain and update Power BI dashboards with clear, actionable insights.
• Track cost deviations using JIRA and Microsoft Teams, escalating issues as needed.
• Participate in review meetings with country stakeholders and contribute to performance discussions.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and support implementation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies.
