Field Service Engineer – Automotive Technical Support

About the role

Join Toyota Motor Philippines as a Field Service Engineer in the Technical Service Department, supporting the Visayas dealer network from our satellite office in Mandaue South, Cebu. You will act as a domain expert in data analysis, technical reporting, and presentation, providing both remote diagnostics and on‑site assistance for complex vehicle issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide repair support to Visayas dealers for hard‑to‑diagnose vehicle problems via remote diagnostics or on‑site visits.
• Create Technical Reports for assisted cases and Field Evaluation Reports for safety‑related incidents.
• Coordinate with internal Toyota affiliates on customer handling and marketing activities.
• Collaborate with regional affiliates and dealer networks to improve repair assistance programs.
• Facilitate serviceability Kaizen requests to address market concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in automotive repair and diagnosis.
• Valid Philippines driver’s license.
• Resident of Cebu province.
• Strong technical and professional knowledge with a focus on customer needs.
• Effective communication and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Forms, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with SAP (advantage).
• Experience using vehicle diagnostic software (advantage).
