Production Operator

About the role

The Production Operator works under the Production Supervisor to operate and maintain assigned machines throughout start‑up, production, and shutdown phases. The role ensures compliance with standard operating procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines according to SOPs, work instructions, and manuals, ensuring safety, product quality, and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Perform basic equipment care, cleaning, sanitation, and machine preparation for start‑up and shutdown.
• Conduct inspection and sampling activities, reporting non‑conformances to the Production Supervisor.
• Implement and monitor EHS hazard identification, GMP, QMS, HACCP, and HALAL standards; may participate in internal audits.
• Prepare production, inventory, and monitoring reports and take part in turnover activities.

Required profile

• 1–10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Probationary employment status as indicated.

Required skills

• Machine operation and maintenance.
• Basic equipment cleaning and sanitation.
• Inspection and sampling techniques.
• Knowledge of EHS, GMP, QMS, HACCP, and HALAL standards.
