Director of People & Culture

About the role

GoTeam is looking for a senior HR leader to shape the employee experience for more than 1,200 staff in the Philippines. Reporting directly to the President, you will combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution to drive culture, compliance, and data‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the people strategy, aligning culture, employee experience and compliance.
• Lead the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits, and off‑boarding.
• Conduct investigations, manage disciplinary actions, and ensure consistent application of policies.
• Build HR dashboards and workforce reports using advanced analytics tools.
• Oversee HRIS platforms and drive AI‑enabled HR initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership as a trusted advisor on people matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Administration (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years as an HR Manager in a BPO or tech‑enabled environment.
• Proven experience reporting to C‑level executives and influencing senior leadership.
• Deep knowledge of Philippine labor law and exposure to international employment standards.
• Track record of building or significantly redesigning an HR function.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HRIS platforms such as Sprout HR, BambooHR, Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI or Tableau for HR analytics and dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with AI or HR‑tech tools and self‑directed learning platforms.
