Director of Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced logistics and supply chain leader to oversee end‑to‑end distribution and fulfillment for a large‑scale consumer business. The Director of Logistics will shape strategy, optimise networks and ensure top‑tier customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall logistics, distribution and supply planning operations.
• Drive network optimisation, cost efficiency and service improvement initiatives.
• Oversee transportation, warehouse, inventory and order‑fulfilment performance.
• Manage third‑party logistics providers and key supply‑chain partners.
• Champion continuous‑improvement, process excellence and digital transformation projects.
• Utilise data, systems and analytics to enhance operational visibility and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related field (post‑graduate qualifications a plus).
• 10+ years of progressive logistics and supply‑chain leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in transportation, warehousing, inventory management and distribution operations.
• Proven track record leading large teams, vendor management and operational transformation.
• Experience with complex consumer‑driven supply chains, preferably in retail, manufacturing or technology.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
