Director of Finance & Accounting Operations (200+ Team)

About the role

We are seeking a commercial‑minded Finance & Accounting leader to drive a high‑growth offshore delivery vertical of more than 200 professionals. The Account Director will own the full client lifecycle for major US and Australian portfolios, balancing boardroom strategy with hands‑on operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary executive contact for C‑suite and VP‑level stakeholders across US and Australian accounts.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery across FAO functions including AR, AP, GL, reporting, audit intake, billing and customer support.
• Monitor work queues, dashboards and financial reports to manage AR risks, denials, claim rejections and escalations.
• Oversee client onboarding, scope expansions, knowledge transfers and process mapping.
• Support RFP responses, solution design, pricing validation and client pitches while shaping go‑to‑market strategy.
• Build, develop and retain a high‑performing delivery organization of 200+ staff.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of experience in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing.
• At least 5 years in a senior client‑facing or account leadership role managing a 200+ headcount team.
• Proven delivery of FAO services to US and/or Australian clients with knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, IRS and ATO regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling standards.
