DevOps Engineer (GCP) with Development Experience

About the role

We are looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the full software delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with developers, system operators, and other IT stakeholders to design, automate, and maintain cloud‑native applications on Google Cloud Platform and other public clouds.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑based micro‑services applications.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring across multiple public cloud providers.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and manage configuration tools such as Puppet or CloudFormation.
• Integrate security checks into the CI/CD workflow and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of services.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and collaborate with development teams to streamline code releases.
• Configure monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect issues.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with DevOps on GCP and familiarity with other clouds (AWS, Azure).
• Proven ability to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Knowledge of high‑availability, scalability, and reliability patterns.
• Strong scripting skills (Perl, Ruby) and proficiency with Git workflows.
