Controllership Manager – CAPEX & OPEX Financial Control

About the role

The Controllership Manager will support the Deputy CFO of Cleanergy 9 in overseeing capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX) initiatives. You will ensure financial compliance, provide cost‑control analysis, and help implement robust reporting processes that drive efficient use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Manage CAPEX and OPEX financial control, reporting, and compliance.
• Perform project cost management, performance analysis, and variance tracking.
• Enhance processes for cost tracking, reporting, and red‑flag identification.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risk.

Required profile

• In‑depth understanding of cost management and control, including cost accounting, classification, and change management.
• Ability to break down budgets, allocate costs, establish baselines, and monitor performance.
• Experience directing cross‑functional teams and managing accounting operations.
• Strong risk identification and mitigation skills throughout project phases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, accounting or related roles, with at least 8 years of project experience.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CMA) are a plus.
