Consultant for WHO Pandemic Fund Multi‑Country Project

About the role

The Consultant will provide high‑quality project management, coordination, monitoring and operational support to ensure the effective, timely and compliant implementation of the multi‑country Pandemic Fund award under the WHO Health Emergencies Programme.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end implementation of the multi‑country project, aligning activities with approved workplans and timelines.
• Establish and maintain project management systems, including a centralized SharePoint filing structure, workplan tracking tools and documentation repositories.
• Plan and facilitate key project milestones such as kick‑off meetings, coordination workshops and regular progress reviews.
• Facilitate regular coordination with WHO Country Offices, regional office, and implementing entities (ADB, AIIB, FAO) to ensure alignment with WHO Pandemic Fund Implementation Guidance and internal grant management SOPs.
• Monitor project compliance, prepare progress reports and support risk communication and community‑engagement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large, multi‑country health or emergency response projects.
• Familiarity with WHO processes, grant management procedures and pandemic preparedness frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across governments, UN agencies and international development partners.
• Strong analytical, reporting and documentation skills.
