Commercial Manager – LNG Terminal Operations

About the role

We operate and maintain an LNG import terminal in the Philippines for our client, LNG PH. As Commercial Manager you will be the day‑to‑day commercial point of contact, ensuring the O&M contract runs smoothly while identifying commercial value and supporting market growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary commercial interface for the LNG PH account, maintaining strong client relationships.
• Administer terminal agreements and O&M commercial terms, tracking obligations, throughput, invoicing, change orders and milestones.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, finance and supply‑chain teams to deliver commercial commitments and flag issues early.
• Maintain revenue, cost, throughput and KPI models, producing clear reports for management and the client.
• Support contract renewals, amendments and new commercial opportunities, including drafting, analysis and negotiation preparation.
• Monitor local market trends, regulation, demand and competitors, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Help expand the commercial footprint in the Philippines, taking on greater origination and deal responsibilities over time.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of commercial, business development or contract management experience, preferably in LNG, gas, power or other capital‑intensive sectors.
• Degree in business, finance, engineering, economics or related field; finance, accounting or energy qualifications are a plus.
• Strong commercial and financial literacy – able to build/read models and explain P&L impacts.
• Experience with contracts such as TUAs, SPAs, GSAs, O&M or EPC agreements, or ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client‑facing communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to the Philippines and work on‑site at the terminal.
• Curiosity and drive to grow into a broader commercial and deal‑making role.
