Cleaner

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our restaurant facilities. The role involves routine cleaning tasks as well as occasional deep‑cleaning projects, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep and mop various floor types.
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops and loose furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and keep waste areas clean and covered.
• Wash and dry windows.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; report low stock to the line manager.
• Report any breakages or needed repairs during cleaning.
• Perform routine inspections and track maintenance activities.
• Maintain and safely operate cleaning equipment, notifying management of any issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
• Proven experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends as needed.

Required skills

• Operating floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners.
• Using a variety of commercial cleaning products safely.
