Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor will lead the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing reporting, and ensuring compliance with Philippine tax regulations. This role supports strategic decision‑making by delivering timely financial insights and managing cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger in NetSuite, record daily transactions, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate management reports on product‑line profitability and cost of goods sold for cosmetics SKUs.
• Conduct month‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, approve invoices, monitor collections, and supervise the AP/AR associate.
• Coordinate monthly inventory counts, reconcile physical and system records, and investigate variances.
• Prepare and file VAT, EWT, and income tax returns, and manage government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG).
• Process semi‑monthly payroll, calculate deductions, and handle final pay for separated employees.
• Develop internal controls, document procedures, and drive process improvements.
