Accounting Manager (CPA) – Travel Operations Finance

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced CPA to lead the finance function of a fast‑paced travel and tours organization. The role involves overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of approximately 18 finance professionals.
• Manage end‑to‑end accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee BIR compliance, tax filings, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and expense management.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and internal departments.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a managerial role supervising a finance team.
• Strong background in taxation, BIR compliance, and financial reporting.
• Experience in travel agency, tourism, airline, or hospitality sectors is a plus.
