Customer Issue Resolution Analyst (German)

About the role

As a Customer Issue Resolution Analyst at 3M Global Business Services, you will support B2B customers and business partners across international markets. You will investigate, connect the dots, and drive issues to resolution throughout the Order-to-Cash journey.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end issue resolution for billing, quality, service complaints, disputes, returns, financial adjustments and collections.
• Partner with internal teams (Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Sales, Customer Operations) to ensure data accuracy, timely responses and proactive problem solving.
• Conduct collection activities, correct billing errors, manage invoice cycles and optimize processes for efficiency.
• Implement creative solutions for moderate to complex issues, leveraging financial analysis and negotiation skills.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and act as a liaison for cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED with at least two years of experience in finance, AR/Collections or pricing.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication in English and a customer‑facing language (German preferred).
• Proven ability to de‑escalate issues, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (conditional formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Power BI reporting and automation tools.
