2º Maitre- Restaurante Gastronómico

About the role

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Maitre to join our Bib Gourmand‑awarded restaurant located in The Cook Book Gastro Boutique Hotel on the Costa Blanca. The role supports the Restaurant Manager in delivering an exceptional dining experience that reflects our commitment to detail, product respect, and top‑class service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the manager in the overall management of the dining room, ensuring service excellence.
• Coordinate, supervise and develop the floor team, fostering training and motivation.
• Maintain service standards in line with the restaurant’s philosophy and international luxury protocols.
• Work closely with the kitchen to ensure a smooth and harmonious service flow.
• Oversee reservations, exclusive event organization, and the upkeep of presentation and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a 2nd Maître or similar role in a high‑end restaurant.
• Advanced knowledge of wines, pairings and luxury service protocol.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of English; French is a plus; other languages valued.
• Passion for high‑level gastronomy and commitment to service excellence.
• Familiarity with Relais & Châteaux standards is highly valued.
