About the role
The Travel Associate supports clients in creating and managing their travel itineraries, ensuring a seamless booking experience. This role involves providing up‑to‑date destination information, handling travel regulations, and maintaining internal travel databases.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with itinerary planning, reservations, and travel documentation.
- Provide accurate information on destinations, visa requirements, and travel advisories.
- Maintain and regularly update travel databases to improve operational efficiency.
- Respond to client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to travel arrangements.
- Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and other vendors to secure competitive rates and services.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Approximately 13 years of experience in a similar travel‑focused role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
Required skills
- Customer service orientation.
- Negotiation skills with travel vendors.
- Proficiency in managing travel booking systems (general).
