Trainer - Solar Campaign

About the role

We are looking for a Trainer to lead the Solar Campaign, delivering product, process and technical training to both technical and non‑technical team members. The role combines classroom instruction, hands‑on drafting, and coordination with Operations to ensure new hires are ready for production.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate training on product information, policies, processes, systems, soft skills and AutoCAD workflows.
• Coordinate with Operations and support departments to create system credentials, time‑keeping tools, orientation presentations and hand‑off of trainees to production.
• Administer assessments and technical design reviews to verify understanding and address knowledge gaps.
• Participate regularly in active solar design and drafting to maintain expertise across all lines of business.
• Complete required training, nesting and CAD certification before leading a class.
• Log attendance and shift information in Teams channels and provide daily progress reports.
• Attend huddles, end‑of‑day reports and calibration sessions with QA and Ops to align training with current solar design standards.

Required profile

• Ability to train both technical (Design/Engineering) and non‑technical (Customer Service/Support) roles.
• Strong knowledge of solar layouts, site assessments and jurisdictional (AHJ) design standards.
• Versatility to learn and teach multiple workstreams across the account.
• Exceptional communication skills to simplify complex drafting concepts for new learners.

Required skills

• AutoCAD and general CAD proficiency.
• Solar design and technical drafting expertise.
• Experience with conducting assessments and technical reviews.
