Senior SAP ABAP Consultant / Assistant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant who will also act as an Assistant Manager. The role primarily involves offshore development of enhancements, project delivery, and client support, with occasional on‑shore engagements depending on project scope.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) components for SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, solution engineers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet design and requirement specifications.
• Estimate effort, participate in requirement analysis, design, build, and unit testing.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure timely, on‑budget delivery while adhering to industry best practices and quality standards.
• Support bug fixing, performance optimization, and troubleshooting activities.

Required profile

• B.Tech/BCA/MCA/MBA with 7‑10+ years of SAP experience.
• Strong analytical, logical, and communication skills.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, conversions, and custom code remediation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.

• IDOC, Adobe Forms/Fragmented Forms, ABAP OO, BOPF, Workflows, ATC
• S/4HANA WRICEF development, conversions, and custom code remediation
• Developer Extensibility (Embedded Steampunk), Cloud Foundry
• Performance optimization, bug fixing, troubleshooting
• Certification in SAP BTP Extension Suite (desired)
