Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management and contract administration for our projects in Pasig City. The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of construction contracts, from pre‑tender estimates to final account settlement, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates and feasibility studies.
• Manage and review bills of quantities, tender documents, and procurement strategies.
• Support risk analysis and value engineering exercises.
• Administer contracts (FIDIC, NEC or local forms) and negotiate tenders and subcontractor agreements.
• Monitor contract compliance, change management and approve interim payments, variations and claims.
• Track budget versus actual costs, provide forecasts and monthly cost reports.
• Mentor junior QS staff and coordinate with project managers, engineers and finance teams.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts, support audits and project close‑out reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional accreditation (RICS, CIArb, ICE or local equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead QS role.
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract and cost management processes.
