Design Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Design Engineer will support project leads and managers in delivering large‑scale infrastructure, reclamation and civil engineering projects. This role focuses on ensuring projects meet schedule, cost and quality targets while adhering to approved methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project leads/managers in planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control.
• Help resolve contract matters to ensure smooth project delivery and closure.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and track expenditures.
• Attend client and contractor meetings, provide weekly and monthly progress updates.
• Document actions and decisions from meetings and prepare presentation materials for senior management.
• Ensure project deadlines are met and provide administrative support as needed.
• Maintain project documentation in accordance with established frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on large‑scale infrastructure or reclamation projects.
• Experience with dredging, reclamation, rock works, wharf and jetty construction is preferred.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work on a project‑based contract and be assigned to Manila.
