About the role
We are seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator to support our telecom business operations. The candidate will work with a complex production environment, document its architecture, stabilise it and drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise Linux‑based firewall clusters and routing infrastructure.
- Administer VMware ESXi/vSphere virtualisation and iSCSI/NFS storage systems.
- Manage backup solutions and automation scripts for telecom services.
- Perform network troubleshooting, incident response and root‑cause analysis.
- Document system configurations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- Strong experience in Linux system administration and server management.
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for complex infrastructure issues.
- Background in technical support and user assistance with minimal downtime.
- Knowledge of network security best practices.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- BGP routing and multihomed network environments
- Juniper, Brocade or Riverstone router configuration
- WireGuard and IPSec VPN technologies
- VMware ESXi / vSphere
- iSCSI and NFS storage
- Dell MD storage systems
- Backup and restore planning
- Shell scripting and automation (cron jobs)
- Network troubleshooting tools (tcpdump, tshark, traceroute, ping, netstat)
- Incident response and root‑cause analysis
