Senior Accountant – Remote (India/Philippines)

About the role

Sauce, a leading restaurant technology platform, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own its accounting operations. This fully remote role supports the company’s growth across the United States while being based in India or the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay (P2P) processes, including vendor onboarding, invoice creation, payment preparation, and ledger maintenance.
• Review and process contractor invoices, maintain payment schedules, and ensure all supporting documentation is audit‑ready.
• Own the AP aging report, proactively resolve outstanding items, vendor queries, and disputed balances.
• Post and review monthly accruals, payroll entries, fixed‑asset amortization, and revenue entries in coordination with the Controller.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations, reconcile corporate credit cards, and manage high‑volume transaction reconciliations across platforms such as Stripe and Melio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts payable, procure‑to‑pay, and month‑end close processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast‑moving finance team.
• Excellent judgment and initiative, capable of handling high‑volume transactions accurately.
