About the role
Geraci LLP is seeking a highly organized US Payroll Administrator to manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for its remote team. This full‑time position requires precision, confidentiality, and a solid grasp of U.S. payroll regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Process bi‑weekly or semi‑monthly payroll using Gusto.
- Maintain and reconcile payroll records in QuickBooks.
- Calculate wages, bonuses, commissions, and deductions accurately.
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding in payroll systems.
- Administer benefits, PTO tracking, and payroll adjustments.
- Prepare and file payroll taxes, ensuring federal and state compliance.
- Respond to payroll‑related employee inquiries promptly.
- Generate payroll reports for finance and leadership.
- Support audits, documentation, and cross‑functional alignment with HR and accounting.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 + years of U.S. payroll processing experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Gusto and QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws and tax regulations.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in professional services or law‑firm environments is a plus.
