Operational Accountant – Receivables & Inter‑Entity Payables (Entry‑Level)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented entry‑level Operational Accountant to support a high‑velocity financial workflow. The role blends high‑volume transaction processing with complex inter‑entity cost allocations, reporting to a US‑based finance team and working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile 200‑250 weekly deposits across multiple banks.
• Monitor bank activity via read‑only portal access to ensure accurate fund capture.
• Support late‑fee calculations and application according to policy.
• Manage ~20 weekly inter‑entity payables, ensuring correct cost‑sharing across entities.
• Coordinate vendor invoices and code them to the appropriate entity before payment.
• Utilize Avid Payables (or similar) to streamline approval and disbursement.
• Prepare and upload journal entries to maintain an up‑to‑date General Ledger.
• Download, organize, and archive bank statements and financial files for audit readiness.
• Execute bulk file uploads and data migration tasks within Yardi.

Required profile

• Proven experience with basic A/R and A/P functions.
• Strong attention to detail; able to spot minute discrepancies.
• Analytical mindset for complex cost‑allocation logic.
• Clear written and verbal English communication for coordination with the US team.
• Dedicated home‑office setup suitable for remote work.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – advanced formulas, data organization, large‑sheet handling.
• Yardi property‑management accounting software (preferred).
• Avid Payables or comparable payables automation tool (preferred).
