Senior Accountant (Full-Time)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage full‑cycle accounting within a dynamic land‑use consulting environment. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive reports, and supporting business decisions with data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records using BigTime.
• Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash‑flow reports.
• Record daily transactions, manage accounts payable and receivable, and issue client invoices.
• Draft proposals and contract addendums for potential clients.
• Execute month‑end close entries and perform financial analysis.
• Track employee hours and process bi‑monthly payroll entries.
• Develop and review monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Identify new data collection and analysis methods to quantify financial opportunities and risks.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proven ability to produce accurate financial statements and reports.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in advanced data analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, high integrity, and effective in a team environment.

What we offer

• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM‑5:30 PM PT with a 1‑hour break.
• Salary of $1,300 per month.
