Senior Accountant – eCommerce Finance (Remote Contractor)

About the role

A fast‑growing eCommerce portfolio is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the accounting foundation across multiple legal entities. The role is fully remote, reporting directly to the Controller and working closely with the FP&A team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close for all entities and deliver P&L statements by the 15th of each month.
• Reconcile 100% of balance‑sheet accounts monthly, ensuring no aging items without documentation.
• Match ERP data to the accounting system across entities and document any discrepancies.
• Track SKU‑level costs (product, freight, duties, platform fees, fulfillment) and update within five business days of any change.
• Reconcile marketplace settlements for Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, and TikTok.
• Manage monthly payroll, corporate card transactions, and bank reconciliations.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, US CPA, or ACCA).
• Big Four experience strongly preferred, especially with Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG Philippines.
• Comfortable working the 9 AM‑2 PM ET overlap window.
• Experience in multi‑entity eCommerce finance environments.

Required skills

• ERP and accounting software proficiency.
• Advanced Excel for financial analysis.
