SAP BTP Senior Consultant

About the role

The SAP BTP Senior Consultant will work primarily from offshore locations to deliver enhancements, project implementations, and ongoing support for SAP clients. The role may involve occasional on‑site delivery depending on project scope.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deliver RICEFW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) according to design specifications.
• Estimate effort, contribute to requirement analysis, and produce technical specifications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, solution engineers, and experts to resolve issues and ensure compliance with design.
• Plan and conduct workshops on SAP BTP architecture and cloud service use cases, including modern UI solutions.
• Design, build, and test SAP BTP‑based solutions, communicating effectively with remote teams.
• Mentor junior team members and coach them on best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering SAP solutions from offshore environments.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with functional stakeholders during build and testing phases.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration across diverse locations.
• Willingness to adopt industry best practices and quality standards.

• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• ABAP on SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model
• Restful ABAP programming model
• ABAP on HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)
• OData service development (CRUD operations)
• Conversion of CDS views to OData services
• Familiarity with SAP API Business Hub
• Core ABAP RICEFW development
