About the role
The company, a leading Chinese FMCG food manufacturer, is expanding rapidly across Southeast Asia. To accelerate its commercial growth in the Philippines, it seeks a Regional General Manager of Sales who will lead market penetration, distributor expansion, and channel development.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales expansion strategy to increase brand visibility and market share.
- Identify, recruit, and manage high‑quality distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Lead overall sales operations, driving outlet expansion, product distribution, and sales volume growth.
- Conduct market research and “blank market” analysis to uncover untapped opportunities.
- Build and mentor a high‑performing local sales organization.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align supply chain, marketing, and finance with sales objectives.
Required profile
- Proven senior‑level experience in FMCG sales leadership, preferably within the Philippines or similar markets.
- Strong track record of building distributor networks and expanding sales channels.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution capability.
- Excellent analytical skills for market research and opportunity identification.
- Entrepreneurial, performance‑driven attitude with a focus on results.
