Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Australia Projects

About the role

We are supporting an Australian real‑estate development group that is expanding its pre‑construction and commercial team. The successful Quantity Surveyor / Estimator will work on a variety of commercial, mixed‑use and industrial projects, providing cost expertise from feasibility through to tender and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quantity take‑offs and bills of quantities for commercial developments.
• Develop budgets, feasibility studies and detailed cost plans.
• Support tendering and bid processes, including preparation of commercial proposals.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with design consultants, engineers and project stakeholders to ensure cost‑effective solutions.
• Track and report costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience on Australia‑based construction projects.
• Strong background in commercial construction (office, retail, mixed‑use, industrial).
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Cost Engineer or Estimator.
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
