Process Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role
The Process Engineer will support Nexperia's semiconductor assembly lines by addressing process‑related challenges, ensuring stable production and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 line support for assembly process issues.
- Monitor KPIs and dashboards daily to maintain performance visibility.
- Identify and mitigate risks in‑process, maintaining robust process control and firewalls.
- Conduct risk assessments, scope processes and products, and perform root‑cause analysis with technical simulations.
- Drive continuous process capability improvement and implement best‑practice benchmarks across operations.
- Characterize new processes or material changes and establish appropriate controls.
- Increase capacity through engineering solutions and qualify alternate source materials for cost/DFPC improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with semiconductor or material science knowledge.
- Minimum 4 years of process engineering experience, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Hands‑on experience with Die‑Attach processes, including characterization, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in SPC, DOE, FMEA, DFM, MRAT, change management, problem‑solving analysis, and lean manufacturing.
- Strong data‑driven problem‑solving skills and ability to improve yield, reliability, and cost efficiency.
