Operational Excellence Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an Operational Excellence Consultant to join the Operational Excellence team at Manulife. In this individual‑contributor role you will design and deliver transformative change focused on digitization, process improvement, risk management and customer centricity, often working night‑shift to collaborate with Canadian counterparts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct process discovery and walkthrough sessions to gather data and validate information for project objectives.
• Identify performance gaps, quantify their impact and develop improvement opportunities.
• Create project deliverables such as process maps, policies, procedures, data analyses, charts and management readouts.
• Support business process owners in deploying recommendations and track the realized benefits.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and promote a continuous‑improvement culture through OE forums and community of practice activities.

Required profile

• College degree or equivalent business experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in process or performance improvement teams and project management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DMAIC, DMADV, Lean, Kaizen and change‑management methodologies.
• Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent) preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile mindset and Scrum framework.
