Occupational Health Nurse & Receptionist

About the role

The Occupational Health Nurse & Receptionist will provide clinical nursing services, health promotion and first‑aid support to employees, visitors and guests of INAEC Aviation Corporation. The role blends occupational health responsibilities with front‑desk duties to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑employment, periodic and return‑to‑work health assessments, including immunizations and screenings such as TB and vision tests.
• Provide first‑aid and emergency care for workplace injuries or illnesses and coordinate follow‑up care.
• Maintain and calibrate medical equipment, manage inventory of medicines and distribute them as needed.
• Develop and deliver health education and wellness programs, including stress management, ergonomics and lifestyle initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate and recommend controls for health and safety hazards in the workplace.
• Handle disability and medical leave cases, coordinating rehabilitation and return‑to‑work plans with employees and managers.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and maintain confidential employee health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, HR, safety officers and management on workplace health strategies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a focus on occupational health.
• Experience conducting health assessments and managing medical supplies.
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of health records.

Required skills

• First aid certification.
• Medical record keeping.
