Maintenance Technician – Ballesteros (Cagayan, Philippines)

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support small to medium‑sized buildings and industrial equipment in Ballesteros, Cagayan. The role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, focusing on preventive maintenance, repairs, and system efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and execute corrective actions.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, track completion, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Support energy‑management initiatives to maintain system efficiency.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow established procedures to resolve straightforward problems and communicate findings clearly.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lb or more.
• Capability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Effective communication for exchanging straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
