Técnico de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales – Zaragoza/Huesca

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Occupational Risk Prevention Specialist to join ERM’s construction safety team in Zaragoza. The role focuses on ensuring that contractors comply with Spanish health‑and‑safety legislation and the project‑specific Construction Safety Management Plan (CSMP).

Key responsibilities

• Assess the safety and health management systems of contractors and verify implementation of the CSMP for each construction project.
• Secure a leadership commitment statement or a project health‑and‑safety policy within the CSMP.
• Perform regular site walks and inspections to guarantee regulatory compliance.
• Promote a strong preventive safety culture in line with Spanish laws (Law 31/1995, Royal Decrees 39/1997, 1627/1997, Law 38/1999).
• Conduct risk assessments, incident analyses and audits of CSMP and related management systems.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Health & Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Construction or a comparable technical qualification, or at least three years of experience in health‑and‑safety management.
• In‑depth knowledge of Spanish occupational safety regulations.
• Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.

Required skills

• ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001 management system expertise.
• Risk assessment and incident analysis.
• Safety audit of construction projects.
• Understanding of CSMP processes.
