IT Support Officer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Officer to deliver first‑line technical assistance to all employees. The role combines on‑site help‑desk duties with remote support, ensuring that software and hardware issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user tickets through the organization’s ticketing system, providing in‑person and remote assistance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems, delivering first‑level support.
• Set up new workstations, peripherals, and network equipment for employees.
• Assist engineering teams with on‑site installation, configuration, and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Operations, Workforce, and MIS to address technical needs.

Required profile

• 0–4 years of experience in an IT support or help‑desk role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong written and spoken English (intermediate to advanced) for coordination with international teams.
• Logical, problem‑solving mindset with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Attention to detail and capability to lift and move heavy equipment.
