Intercompany Accountant

About the role

The Intercompany Accountant will manage end‑to‑end intercompany transactions across Sealed Air’s global entities. You will ensure accurate billing, clearing, netting and reconciliation while supporting month‑end close and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review intercompany billings, journal entries and clearing activities.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts, resolve discrepancies and monitor outstanding balances.
• Identify and correct system‑related errors such as SAP IDoc failures and Trading Partner mismatches.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Tax, Treasury and regional finance teams to ensure proper valuation and timely processing of transactions.
• Prepare accruals for recurring intercompany transactions and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Assist internal and external auditors and propose automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong accounting background with experience in intercompany accounting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to resolve complex transaction issues.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across multiple finance functions.
