Hydraulic Modeller – Water Resources (Intermediate/Senior)

About the role

Aurecon is looking for an Intermediate or Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join its Global Design Centre in Manila. The role will support the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, primarily for New Zealand clients, working within multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and calibrate hydraulic models for water and wastewater networks.
• Analyse transmission systems including rising mains, gravity mains, pump stations and storage facilities.
• Deliver modelling and design solutions for transmission pipelines, pump stations and utility networks.
• Integrate model outputs into concept and detailed design deliverables.
• Prepare technical reports and modelling summaries for non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver constructible, sustainable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).
• 4‑6 years of experience in hydraulic modelling and network design for water or wastewater utility projects.
• Strong understanding of water networks, pipelines (pressurised and gravity), pump stations and system operations.

Required skills

• InfoWorks ICM / WS Pro.
• DHI MIKE URBAN.
• Civil 3D.
• ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Hydraulic model calibration techniques.
