About the role

The Technology Head will shape the bank’s technological future by aligning IT infrastructure and services with business objectives. This senior position drives digital innovation, operational efficiency, and ensures that technology initiatives support strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the overall business strategy.
• Lead the planning and architecture of all IT systems and platforms to ensure security, scalability, and performance.
• Oversee development and integration of new platforms, including digital banking, mobile applications, and data analytics systems.
• Manage the bank's IT portfolio, ensuring projects deliver maximum value and align with strategic objectives.
• Drive innovation by exploring and implementing advanced technologies such as AI, blockchain, and cloud computing.
• Establish robust governance and compliance processes to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Required profile

• 15+ years of work experience, with at least 10 years leading teams in the banking industry.
• Proven strategic technical leader with experience in business applications, middleware, and database technologies.
• Demonstrated success delivering digital transformation solutions and large‑scale technology programs.
• Strong background in API architecture and enterprise architecture leadership.
• Experience in financial services and a track record of driving productivity and quality improvements.
