Global Intercompany Accountant (Entry Level)

About the role

The Global Intercompany Accountant supports end‑to‑end intercompany accounting activities for assigned entities, ensuring accurate posting, timely reconciliations, and compliance with internal and statutory requirements. The role works within a process‑centric model, focusing on intercompany AR/AP, recharge accounting, stock, GR/IR, and netting across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute intercompany accounting activities in line with J&J Credo, worldwide procedures, SOX, and local regulations.
• Perform daily and period‑end intercompany tasks such as posting, matching, clearing, and ageing monitoring.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close according to the global close calendar.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate open or aged items, and resolve intercompany disputes.
• Maintain data quality, documentation, and integrity during system changes or migrations.
• Collaborate with team leads, subject‑matter experts, and global partners; participate in training and knowledge‑sharing activities.
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to automation, standardisation, and optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
