Fraud Audit Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Fraud Audit Officer to protect our organization’s assets and reputation by conducting thorough audits and investigations that detect, analyze, and prevent fraudulent activities. The role ensures compliance with internal controls and regulations while providing management with actionable recommendations to strengthen fraud risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits and investigations to identify and prevent fraud based on management requests.
• Review financial and operational records for irregularities and fraud indicators.
• Assess internal controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Investigate suspected fraud cases, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Recommend corrective actions and monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
• Promote ethical practices and enhance fraud risk management across the organization.
• Update audit issue tracking systems and provide periodic progress summaries.

Required profile

• Graduate in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or Criminology.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in auditing, fraud detection, or compliance.
• Hands‑on experience in fraud investigations, data analytics, and report preparation.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) qualification is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in Cagayan De Oro City.
