Financial Reporting Supervisor – Accountant

About the role

The Financial Reporting Supervisor will ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of profit and loss accounts in SAP, supporting internal customers and management with reliable financial data. The role involves preparing statutory and group financial reports and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute financial closing activities, including booking accruals and clearing entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for DMPI statutory and DMPL group reporting.
• Reconcile P&L balances between SAP General Ledger and SAP Profitability Analysis (COPA), perform variance analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist external auditors during year‑end audit walkthroughs and financial statement preparation.
• Conduct periodic transaction analyses such as sick leave/vacation accruals, income tax payable, professional fees, utilities, and other monthly closing items.
• Prepare quarterly P&L breakdowns to support DMPI’s quarterly income tax filing.

Required profile

• Graduate in Accounting, Financial Management, Management Accounting or a related field.
• Relevant experience in finance or accounting is an advantage.
• Willingness to work onsite with a six‑day work week.
• Open to relocation to Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental.
