Facilities Supervisor – Retail & Commercial Properties

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to lead daily maintenance operations across our premium retail and commercial environments. The Facilities Supervisor will bridge strategy and execution, ensuring building systems run efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and schedule a team of facility engineers and maintenance staff to meet daily and preventive maintenance goals.
• Supervise operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire‑protection systems.
• Conduct facility walkthroughs and inspections, auditing work performed by internal teams and external contractors.
• Act as primary on‑site contact for vendors, overseeing contract execution, repairs and upgrades.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimise downtime.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Direct emergency response to facility issues, reducing impact on retail operations.
• Maintain accurate logs, track equipment history and manage spare‑parts inventory.

Required profile

• Registered/Licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
• Proven supervisory or team‑lead experience in facilities, property or commercial/retail management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection).
• Strong troubleshooting ability and results‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotating schedules, including weekends/holidays, and across multiple projects.
