Director, Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard Advisors is seeking a Director of Services Business Development to lead sales and opportunity generation for its payments‑focused consulting practice. You will work with regional and global clients, shaping strategies that drive value and support Mastercard’s vision of a world beyond cash.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver insightful analysis and recommendations for clients.
• Design strategies, propositions and operating models independently or within consulting teams.
• Apply quantitative and qualitative techniques to identify client challenges.
• Produce high‑quality proposals, reports and steering‑committee presentations.
• Manage small‑ to medium‑size engagements, including staffing and project delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with mid‑ to senior‑level client executives.
• Implement strategies, act as an advisor, and sustain ongoing client partnerships.
• Continuously acquire new knowledge and contribute to intellectual capital.
• Support local market account teams in client relationship management and business development.

Required profile

• Proven consulting experience at a top‑rated firm or equivalent business‑management background.
• Strong consulting sales management and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to develop strategies and programs for regional and global clients.
• Experience managing small‑ to medium‑scale projects and leading teams.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with senior client stakeholders.
• Proactive learner who contributes to knowledge development.
