Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support initiatives that drive optimal asset utilization and operational excellence across its manufacturing footprint. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will challenge existing processes and champion the implementation of Lean and continuous improvement opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support CI activities, including Kaizen events, 5S implementations, and problem‑solving workshops.
• Maintain and update Value Stream Maps, identifying waste and improvement opportunities.
• Plan and execute CI campaigns and LIFE programs to boost productivity.
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain and other functions to design and roll out process enhancements.
• Analyze cross‑functional workflows to uncover efficiency gaps.
• Promote best‑practice sharing and benchmarking across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret production data using statistical methods.
• Excellent written and spoken English and experience preparing technical reports.
• Proven ability to facilitate change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
• Statistical analysis software.
• Microsoft Office applications.
