Construction Estimator (Quantity Surveyor) – Remote

About the role

We are a fast‑growing U.S. residential design‑build firm seeking three talented Construction Estimators (Quantity Surveyors) to join our rebuilding estimating team. This is a remote, full‑time position based in the Philippines, supporting high‑profile projects in Washington, DC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate take‑offs and cost estimates from architectural plans.
• Standardise pricing methods and create reusable assemblies, checklists, and templates.
• Identify and embed fixes for recurring estimating errors to prevent rework.
• Own the estimate through to project delivery, ensuring numbers align with on‑site outcomes.
• Continuously improve the estimating function each quarter.

Required profile

• Ability to read plans and produce reliable take‑offs confidently.
• Proactive in spotting potential issues and escalating blockers.
• Commitment to own the full result, not just a portion of the estimate.
• Drive to trace root causes of cost overruns and eliminate them.
• Preference for measurable performance over comfort.
