Architectural Drafter

About the role

The Architectural Drafter will translate design concepts into precise technical drawings that support architectural and construction projects. Using industry‑standard CAD tools, you will create clear documentation for contractors, engineers, and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, sections, and elevations based on design specifications.
• Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit to generate accurate technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine design details.
• Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
• Revise and update drawings in response to feedback, design changes, or site conditions.
• Maintain organized drawing files and project records.
• Assist in preparing presentation drawings and technical details for client and contractor use.
• Conduct site measurements and translate field data into accurate drafting outputs.

Required profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in architectural drafting, focusing on elevations and construction documentation.
• Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in technical drawings and architectural detailing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of architectural standards and construction detailing.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate elevations and sections.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp or 3Ds Max (advantage).
