About the role
We are seeking a Compliance Assistant Company Secretary to support our corporate governance and secretarial functions for a portfolio of clients in the Philippines. The role involves day‑to‑day assistance with regulatory filings, document management, and liaison with senior executives and external authorities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily Company Secretarial tasks and governance matters.
- Register foreign companies with ASIC and maintain client records.
- Draft and file forms with ASIC, ATO, TGA and other regulatory bodies.
- Manage the Monday and CAS BGL databases and related registers.
- Prepare directors’ and members’ resolutions, share transactions and director changes.
- Coordinate legal document execution and D&O insurance arrangements.
- Handle client enquiries on compliance, corporate governance and ASIC queries.
- Draft corporate governance materials such as board charters and policies.
- Conduct company, title and charge searches and download ASIC extracts.
- Support ad‑hoc client and internal tasks as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs, Political Science or related field.
- 1‑3 years of relevant experience, preferably in ASIC handling.
- Immediate availability and residence in the Philippines.
Required skills
- Experience filing with ASIC.
- Familiarity with ATO and TGA form submissions.
- Database management (Monday.com, CAS BGL).
