About the role
The Commercial Development Representative will be the first point of contact for market intelligence, acting as a quarterback to align marketing, product, sales, and relationship teams with client needs. This role focuses on generating qualified leads and driving revenue growth by developing new business prospects.
Key responsibilities
- Qualify potential prospects across assigned market intelligence accounts and identify key decision‑makers.
- Develop new business opportunities from inbound leads, prospect lists, and independent research.
- Create and execute outreach strategies to secure appointments for sales representatives.
- Follow up on leads, conduct research, and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
- Engage new‑logo prospects throughout the buying process and nurture relationships.
- Continuously expand product and sales knowledge through demos and feedback.
- Monitor daily priorities to ensure timely delivery of results and collaborate on best practices.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of telemarketing or inside‑sales experience, preferably in financial services.
- Proven track record of meeting quota and activity targets.
- Strong client‑relationship and service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, think creatively, and handle objections.
- Self‑motivated with a goal‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- CRM (experience managing prospect data and communications).
