Building Administration Officer

About the role

The Building Administration Officer ensures that the mall’s facilities are clean, safe, and efficiently operating. By overseeing maintenance, utilities, and tenant services, the role supports business goals and delivers a positive experience for shoppers and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise janitorial, landscaping, minor repairs, and pest‑control activities while staying within policy and budget constraints.
• Conduct regular inspections of mall facilities and utilities, coordinate repairs, monitor consumption, and manage reporting and billing.
• Act as Safety Officer, handling incident response, coordinating with relevant departments, and maintaining safety documentation.
• Assist tenants with construction and renovation projects, reviewing plans, inspecting sites, and resolving compliance issues.
• Provide backup support for custodial and warehouse staff for emergency item handling.

Required profile

• Graduate in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Building Maintenance Technology, or a related business field.
• Minimum two years of experience in building/property administration or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building/property administration, facilities management, housekeeping, and engineering maintenance services.
