BIM Modeller

About the role

We are looking for a BIM Modeller to support our design and construction teams on coastal and reclamation projects. The role involves creating 2D and 3D models, 4D simulations, and preparing visualisation material for client presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2D‑to‑3D design modelling, 4D simulation, sketches, tender drawings and material calculations for engineering design and tender submissions.
• Assist design engineers in preparing visualisation models for client and stakeholder presentations.
• Support construction supervision and project management teams to ensure model compliance with project specifications, BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and required information levels.
• Collaborate with the Coastal Engineering Team to set up, optimise and monitor BIM processes for coastal and reclamation projects.
• Verify contractor monthly progress claims for material quantities using Civil 3D or equivalent software.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in engineering drafting, design and BIM modelling for built‑environment projects.
• Experience with coastal and reclamation projects is a strong advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic team environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D (preferred) and Autodesk Revit.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Navisworks and 4D construction sequencing software.
• Experience using SketchUp.
• Certification in BIM‑related applications is beneficial.
